Malampuzha Dam and Garden.

is a famous tourist attraction located near Palakkad in Kerala, at the foothills of the Western Ghats.

The dam was constructed across the Malampuzha River, a tributary of the Bharathapuzha River, as part of a major irrigation project.

Construction began in 1949 and the dam was completed in 1955.

Surrounded by green hills, forests and the beautiful waters of the reservoir, Malampuzha offers a picturesque setting for nature lovers.

The Malampuzha Garden, spread around the reservoir, is one of Kerala's popular gardens, featuring colourful flower beds, lawns, fountains, sculptures and well-maintained pathways.

The combination of the dam, tranquil reservoir, lush greenery and Western Ghats makes Malampuzha a delightful destination for visitors.
