Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand.

Illustration of Jesus feeding the five thousand with five loaves and two fish

Rely on God's provision rather than your limited human resources. The gathering of exactly twelve baskets of leftover food signifies abundance. Jesus' provision is more than enough.

Luke 9:10-17

Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand.

10 When the apostles returned, they reported to Jesus what they had done. Then he took them with him and they withdrew by themselves to a town called Bethsaida, 11 but the crowds learned about it and followed him. He welcomed them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who needed healing.

12 Late in the afternoon the Twelve came to him and said, “Send the crowd away so they can go to the surrounding villages and countryside and find food and lodging, because we are in a remote place here.”

13 He replied, “You give them something to eat.”

They answered, “We have only five loaves of bread and two fish—unless we go and buy food for all this crowd.” 14 (About five thousand men were there.)

But he said to his disciples, “Have them sit down in groups of about fifty each.” 15 The disciples did so, and everyone sat down. 16 Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to distribute to the people. 17 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over.

The Science of Colours Before Sunrise.

Sky glowing with soft orange and pink light just before sunrise over the horizon

Have you ever observed the sky just before sunrise?

The Science Behind the Sky's most beautiful hour
long before the sun clears the horizon, the sky puts on a show few people are awake to see ;
a slow shift from black to blue to gold. It isn't magic, it's physics.

As the sun climbs from 18° below the horizon toward sunrise, the sky moves through three twilight stages, each brighter than the last, culminating in the vivid oranges and pinks of civil twilight.

Those colors come from Rayleigh scattering. Sunlight contains every color, but gas molecules in the atmosphere scatter shorter wavelengths (blue) more than longer ones (red, orange).

Before sunrise, light travels through much more atmosphere at a low angle, scattering away nearly all the blue and leaving the warm colors behind.
High clouds can amplify the effect, reflecting that low-angle light like a screen, while cooler,

Sky Before Sunrise at Kadappa, Andhrapradesh.

Pre-dawn sky over Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, glowing with soft colors before sunrise

Sky glowing with soft early morning light just before sunrise

The Hour Before Light. View from Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh.

There is a moment, before the sun dares to rise,  so beautiful, when the sky forgets what color it should be.

Night has not quite let go. Day has not quite arrived. And in that hush between them, the horizon turns to soft indigo, then blushes into rose and amber, as if the world were waking slowly on purpose, unwilling to rush something so fragile.

Birds sense it first. Their small, uncertain songs stitch themselves into the silence, a rehearsal before the world remembers to be loud.

The air is cool and unclaimed. It carries no noise yet, no hurry ; only the quiet suggestion that something vast is about to begin.

This is the sky before sunrise: not day, not night, but a threshold. A breath held between what was and what will be.

And for a few minutes, everything  the clouds, the light, the waiting earth seems to agree that beauty needs no audience to be real.

Be Confident inThe Lord!

An illustration of the image of Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 3:26  "For the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught."

The Lord will be your confidence": True security and boldness do not come from personal achievements, status, or self-reliance. Instead, placing one's trust in God provides a firm foundation and peace of mind, especially when facing unexpected fears or challenges.

And will keep your foot from being caught": This metaphor speaks of divine protection. Just as a traveler is kept safe from traps or dangerous terrain, God guides the steps of those who follow His wisdom, ensuring they are not led into spiritual or moral ruin.

Be confident! The LORD is your guide, caretaker and protector.

The LORD is your Redeemer.

Follow the Redeemer!

The Faith will give you Reward.

Illustration of a Canaanite woman near Jesus, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me!

Matthew 15:21-28

The Faith of a Canaanite Woman.

"21Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.”

23 Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”

24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”

25 The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said.

26 He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”

27 “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”

28 Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

Jesus initially responds with silence, and then tells her His earthly mission is only for the "lost sheep of Israel.

The woman shows incredible humility and faith.

Her great faith leads to the healing of her daughter instantly.

God’s salvation and grace  are available to anyone who seeks Him.

God's salvation is ultimately for everyone.

Be faithful! The LORD will bless you forever!
