Refresh And Relax - Reduce Your Mental Overload.

An illustration of people spending a few minutes in prayer and meditation,

How to Relax one's mind?

Relaxing your mind is often about reducing mental overload and helping your body shift into a calmer state. Here are some methods that many people find helpful:

Practice slow breathing – Breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds, exhale slowly for 6–8 seconds. Repeat for 5–10 minutes.

Take a walk – Even a 10–20 minute walk, especially in a quiet or green area, can reduce stress.

Listen to calming music – Instrumental music, nature sounds, or soft devotional music can help settle the mind.

Pray or meditate – Spending a few minutes in prayer, meditation, or quiet reflection can bring a sense of peace.

Limit screen time – Taking breaks from phones, social media, and constant news can reduce mental fatigue.

Write down your thoughts – Journaling worries or making a simple to-do list can help clear your mind.

Stretch gently – Light stretching or yoga can ease physical tension that often accompanies stress.

Get enough sleep – Aim for a regular sleep schedule and avoid caffeine late in the day.

Talk to someone you trust – Sharing your concerns with a friend or family member can lighten the mental burden.

Spend time doing something enjoyable – Reading, gardening, cooking, drawing, or any hobby you enjoy can refresh your mind.

The Art of Not Catching Someone Else's Bad Mood.

Illustration representing staying calm and unaffected by others' negativity.

In our daily life we often meet people who talk negatively and make our best moments miserable. How can we tackle this in a positive way?

Don't try to fix their mood. Jumping in with "just think positive!" usually backfires — it can feel dismissive. Instead, acknowledge what they're saying ("that sounds frustrating") without agreeing to spiral with them.

Set a boundary on how much you absorb. You can be supportive without becoming the dumping ground for every complaint. It's okay to say "I hear you, but I don't have the bandwidth to go deep on this right now."

Ask what they actually want. Sometimes people venting just want to be heard, not advised. Asking "do you want me to just listen, or help problem-solve?" saves you both frustration.

Limit exposure if it's chronic. If someone is consistently negative in a way that drains you, it's reasonable to reduce time spent with them, or steer conversations toward neutral or lighter topics.

Model calm, don't lecture. Staying steady yourself is more persuasive than telling them to change. People often adjust their tone when the person across from them isn't matching the intensity.

Separate the person from the pattern. Someone going through a hard time and venting occasionally is different from someone whose default mode is complaint or criticism — the second usually needs firmer boundaries, not more patience.

The Importance of Positive Thinking.

Illustration representing a woman staying positive and active.

Positive thinking isn't about ignoring reality. It's about how you interpret and respond to it. A few real benefits:

Better problem-solving.

Optimism tends to keep your focus on solutions rather than getting stuck on what's wrong.

Resilience under stress.

People with a positive outlook tend to bounce back faster from setbacks, they treat failures as temporary rather than permanent.

Physical health links.

Research has associated optimism with lower rates of cardiovascular disease and even longer lifespan, likely partly through healthier habits and lower chronic stress.

Stronger relationships.

People generally gravitate toward others who bring energy and hope rather than constant negativity.

More willingness to take chances.

If you expect things might work out, you're more likely to try; which itself increases your odds of success.

One caveat worth naming:

There's a difference between genuine positive thinking and toxic positivity forcing a cheerful spin on things that are actually bad, or dismissing real problems and emotions. The useful version is more like realistic optimism: acknowledging what's hard while still believing you can handle it or improve it.

Sunrise in Kadapa.

The Beauty of Sunrise.
Have you ever watched the beauty of sunrise?

There is a quiet magic in the moment before the world wakes. It is quite amazing! The sky, still soft with sleep, begins to blush  pale gold bleeding into rose, rose deepening into amber.

It happens slowly, as if the sun itself is gentle with the earth, unwilling to startle it awake. Slowly slowly lights change, clouds also changing colours, some vanish.

Birds are usually the first to notice. Their songs rise before the light does, a kind of applause for something not yet seen.

Then, almost shyly, the sun lifts itself above the horizon , a single spark that soon becomes fire, spilling color across rooftops, treetops, and still water.

A sunrise asks for nothing. It doesn't wait for applause or attention, yet it gives itself fully each morning, reminding us that beginnings are always possible, that darkness is never permanent, and that light  however delayed  always returns.

To watch a sunrise is to witness hope in its purest form. It proves, even the darkest nights will end.

Walk With God In Righteousness.

Imaginary illustration of Noah walking faithfully with God

The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation.

Genesis 7:1

Why did the LORD say this to Noah?

The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. 6 The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. 7 So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” 8 But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

Genesis 6: 5-8

Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.

(Genesis 6:9)

11 Now the earth was corrupt in God’s sight and was full of violence. 12 God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. 13 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth. 14 So make yourself an ark of cypress wood; make rooms in it and coat it with pitch inside and out.

Genesis 6: 11-14

I am going to bring floodwaters on the earth to destroy all life under the heavens, every creature that has the breath of life in it. Everything on earth will perish. 18 But I will establish my covenant with you, and you will enter the ark—you and your sons and your wife and your sons’ wives with you. 19 You are to bring into the ark two of all living creatures, male and female, to keep them alive with you. 20 Two of every kind of bird, of every kind of animal and of every kind of creature that moves along the ground will come to you to be kept alive. 21 You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.”

22 Noah did everything just as God commanded him.

Genesis 6: 17-22

Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood.

Genesis 7:7

21 Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind.

Genesis 7:21

Only Noah was left, and those with him in the ark.

Genesis 7:23

The world today is also filled with corruption, violence, wars, terrorism and wickedness of mankind.

The every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart is only evil.

The Lord's heart is  deeply troubled now too.

The end of this world is near.

Do you want to get favour in the eyes of the Lord?

Be righteous and blameless like Noah.

Walk faithfully with God.
