A Prayer of Praise and Thanksgiving to the Lord.

Heavenly Father, I praise and thank You for Your abundant goodness, mercy, and unfailing love. Every good thing in my life comes from Your gracious hand. You have blessed me with life, strength, health, food to eat, clothing to wear, and a place to live. You have cared for me each day and provided for my needs, even in ways I may not always notice.

Your Word says, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits” (Psalm 103:2). Lord, I do not want to take Your blessings for granted. Thank You for the gift of life, for the breath I breathe, for the strength to carry out my daily responsibilities, and for the health and well-being You have given me.

Thank You for providing food for my body and shelter over my head. You know everything I need even before I ask. As Jesus taught, “Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things” (Matthew 6:32). Thank You for clothing, household necessities, daily provisions, and all the comforts and blessings You graciously provide.

Thank You, Lord, for Your loving care and protection. Your Word reminds us, “The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1). Like a loving shepherd, You watch over me, guide me, sustain me, and lead me through each day.

I praise You also for the people through whom You show Your care- the family, friends, neighbours, and others who encourage, help, and stand beside me. Thank You for every act of kindness, every word of comfort, and every helping hand. These blessings remind me of Your goodness.

Father, forgive me when I become so accustomed to Your blessings that I forget to thank You. Help me to have a grateful heart and to recognize Your hand in both the great and the small things of life. May I always remember that “every good gift and every perfect gift is from above” (James 1:17).

Thank You for yesterday, thank You for today, and I place tomorrow in Your hands. Give me wisdom to use Your blessings rightly and a generous heart to share with those who are in need.

As Psalm 107:1 says, “O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”

Lord, You are worthy of all praise, honour, and thanksgiving. May my words, my life, and all that I have continually glorify Your holy name.

“I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” - Psalm 34:1
