Jesus Christ, the Light of the World: Believe in Him and Walk in Truth.

Persons walking along a bright path, following Jesus Christ and choosing to live in His light and truth.

John 3:18-19 - The Choice Between Light and Darkness.

Verse 18: “He that believe on him is not condemned: but he that believe not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

Verse 19: “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.”

  John 3:18

Jesus teaches that whoever believes in Him will not be condemned. Believing in Jesus means more than simply knowing that He exists. It means trusting Him, accepting Him as the Son of God, and following His teachings.

Those who reject Jesus and refuse to believe in Him remain under condemnation because they reject the salvation God has provided through His Son.

Faith in Jesus Christ is the way to receive salvation and escape condemnation.

John 3:19

Jesus describes Himself as the Light who came into the world.

Light represents:

Truth.

Righteousness.

Holiness.

God's Word.

The presence and guidance of God.

Darkness represents:

Sin and evil.

Unrighteousness.

Falsehood.

Disobedience to God.

Sadly, some people prefer darkness because they do not want their evil deeds to be exposed by the truth.

When a person chooses darkness over light, it reveals the condition of that person's heart.

  Spiritual Lessons for Our Lives.

1. Believe in Jesus: True faith in Christ brings us into a relationship with God.

2. Love the light: We should welcome God's truth even when it reveals our mistakes.

3. Reject evil: We must turn away from sinful thoughts, words and actions.

4. Examine ourselves: Instead of judging others, we should examine our own lives in the light of God's Word.

5. Walk in truth: Our daily conduct should reflect the teachings of Jesus.

A Message for Reflection

God has given us His Son, Jesus Christ, as the Light of the world. We are given a choice: to accept His light or to remain in darkness.

Those who love the truth will not be afraid to examine their lives before God. They will acknowledge their mistakes, repent of their sins and seek to live according to His Word.

Let us not merely profess our faith in Jesus but demonstrate it through our thoughts, words and actions.

Let us choose the light of Christ every day, for a life lived in His truth leads us towards God.
